ART METERS PAINTING PARTY!

Good news! The City of Rock Island got rid of their parking meters!
Better news… we get to paint them! Then they will be placed around town. All the change we collect from our Art Meters will support public art in our city.
The Arts Advisory Committee is looking for local artists to help us make the meters stand out. All materials provided, but you’re welcome to bring your own brushes.

We did not anticipate so many folks wanting to help us paint! We only have a dozen parking meters. Artists are welcome to work in teams or pairs, but we DO need you register now. Sorry for the flip-flop!
