The Quad Cities newest adult improv comedy troupe is set to take over The Speakeasy. This talented group consists of performers formally of ComedySportz, The Blacklist, Livewire, and Trabajos De Manos. These talented performers will have you rolling in the aisles! Must be 21 or older to attend.
A collection of comedians that have come together from virtually every comedy property in the Quad Cities and beyond to make something new and exciting. Hoping to bring their passion for improv to the forefront, Open Source Improv is looking to reinforce a community of comedy. Every aspect of their shows, from the themes to the venue, is designed to be fluid. Having already set dates at several Quad City locations, Open Source Improv is bringing improv comedy back to the Circa 21 Speakeasy. The idea behind moving around being that the performers in Open Source Improv love what they do but in the past have felt restricted. This collective aims to break free from those restrictions and adopt a philosophy of passion. Shows can be whenever, wherever, and featuring whomever.
