THE NIGHT WITCHES OF WWII

Author Brooks Carver brings to light the story of the first all-female air force to fly combat missions in World War II. The “Night Witches” as they were called by German pilots, were young 18-to-23 year-old Russian women who risked their lives to fly dangerous night missions. Carver is the author of Daughters of the Steppes: The Night Witches of World War II.
