ROCKIN’ INTO SUMMER KICKOFF

It’s the last full day of school in Rock Island/Milan and the first day of our Rockin’ Library Summer! Join us in the parking lot of the Rock Island Downtown Library for our free Rockin’ into Summer Kickoff! The fun includes LIBRARIES ROCK summer registration and a PRIZE, free water and popcorn from Rock Island Library, free treats from the Vibrant Credit Union Ice Cream Truck, and a performance by Riding Atlas from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. The band graduated from the River Music Experience summer and winter music camps, and have played at the youth showcase for the International Blues Challenge in Memphis! Want a snack? Happy Joe’s will be on hand with $4 slices of deep-dish pizza. You can also  purchase some delicious cupcakes from Scratch Curbside Cupcakery.  Bring a lawn chair and stay for a while! Activities move inside in the event of rain.
