THE SPEAKEASY ANNOUNCES AUDITIONS FOR
THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW!
Auditions will be held at 6 p.m. on Monday July 15 at
Circa 21 Dinner Playhouse located at 1828 3rd Avenue in Rock Island. Please bring a current headshot & resume and prepare 16 bars (or one verse and one chorus) of a pop/rock song. You may choose to sing a selection from the show. An accompanist will be provided, please bring sheet music. A Capella and outside recordings will not be allowed. Be prepared to cold read from the show and learn a dance combination. If you would like to be considered for the role of Columbia, please bring tap shoes and be prepared to learn a small tap combo. Those auditioning must be 18 or older.
This is not the film and shadow cast experience. No screens, no lip syncing. Be aware that while there is no nudity in this production, some characters will need to be comfortable in revealing clothing. All Roles Paid.
All performances of Rocky will be at The Speakeasy and not Circa ’21. The Speakeasy is Circa ’21’s secondary facility. Run dates are October 18, 19, 25, 26 & 27. Rehearsals will be begin in early to mid-September All roles are paid.

BRAD: Male (Range: Bari Tenor, Bb2-G4) Quirky, but very much in love with his fiancé, Janet. Overly optimistic at times.
JANET: Female (Range: Mezzo Soprano Belt, A3-Eb5) Good girl who is madly in love with Brad.
NARRATOR: Male (Non-Singing Role) Follows our two hero’s through the story by narrating directly to the audience.
FRANK ‘N’ FURTER: Male (Range: Baritone, D3-G4) Master of the castle. Obsessed with creating a man to be part of his entourage. Master of seduction.
