Lederhosen 5K

The Lederhosen 5K is Saturday, September 30, 2017, at Schwiebert Riverfront Park in downtown Felsen Insel (Rock Island).
You’re encouraged to dress up for the run/walk in your best lederhosen or dirndl. Kids aren’t left out with their own half-mile fun run called the Kinderlauf.
When you’re done, stay for the Oktoberfest Post-Race Party supported by Euclid Beverages! There will be your favorite beverages, German food, music, games for kid’s and adults, and fun! This Oktoberfest open to the public and for the whole family. It is open from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Proceeds from this event benefit the Church of Peace Food Pantry that serves over 1900 families each year and annually supplies almost 55,000 pounds of food, and other community outreach efforts.
