We are thrilled to welcome back The Rave Ons to Circa ’21 in THAT’LL BE THE DAY: A TRIBUTE TO BUDDY HOLLY AND THE CRICKETS on May 30. Circa ’21 audiences may recognize the leader of the Rave Ons, Todd Meredith. Todd played Buddy in our first production of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story in 2008.

Tickets: $25 in advance and $30 the day of the show.
The evening performance is a show-only but the theatre will be offering sandwich baskets, selected hors d’ oeuvres and desserts for purchase. The theatre also offers a full bar.

Made up of cast members from the national tour of the hit musical, BUDDY – THE BUDDY HOLLY STORY, Todd Meredith & The Rave-Ons are a high energy rock and roll band originally formed to revitalize the music of Buddy Holly and the Crickets.
The Rave-Ons are led by Todd Meredith, who has performed in 20 separate productions of the musical as Buddy Holly and in tribute concerts for the past decade. He’s joined by Bill Morey on the upright bass, Matt Watson on drums, and Jeremy Renner on guitar.
They have played together all over the country, delighting audiences in New York City, Reno, Memphis, Nashville, Jacksonville, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Colorado, Missouri, and even Buddy Holly’s hometown of Lubbock, Texas. Unlike other tribute bands of the same nature, all members of the Rave-Ons exhibit a youthful quality reminiscent of the The Crickets and give their shows an energy and exuberance that cannot be matched.
